What began as a personal family recipe book has grown into a proudly South African brand offering a full range of chutneys, chilli sauces, and wholegrain mustards, each crafted with care, heritage, and a commitment to exceptional taste.
David’s vision has always been simple: create products that taste real, feel authentic, and support local farmers.
Every jar and bottle is made using fresh produce sourced directly from farmers in the Western Cape, ensuring unmatched flavour and consistency. All products are vegan, gluten-free, SANHA Halaal certified, SA Kosher certified, allergen-tested, and uniquely rooibos-infused, giving Spicy Bulldog its signature South African character.
With a natural shelf life of 1–2 years, the Spicy Bulldog range has become a reliable pantry staple for homes, restaurants, and retailers alike.

To support the growing demand for Spicy Bulldog products, Spicy Bulldog Pty Ltd has entered into an NDA and co-packing partnership with Afoodable Pty Ltd, a trusted facility equipped with FSSC 22000 Food Safety Certification.
This partnership enables:

New bottle and bucket shapes and sizes available from early 2025
This collaboration ensures that Spicy Bulldog can meet retail, bulk, hospitality, and international demand without ever compromising on quality.
Spicy Bulldog products have already made their way to Seychelles, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Bahrain.
With strengthened production capabilities and international certification support, the company is now fully prepared to export to the United States as well.
