Refund and Returns Policy

Our Commitment

At Spicy Bulldog, we stand behind the quality of our products. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

Returns Period

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to return eligible items for a refund or exchange.

Eligible Returns

Items must meet the following conditions:

  • Unused and in original condition
  • Original packaging intact and undamaged
  • All labels, tags, and seals still attached
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Opened or used food products
  • Items without original packaging
  • Products damaged due to misuse or negligence
  • Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)

Faulty or Damaged Products

If you receive a faulty or damaged item:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Provide your order number and photos of the defect/damage
  3. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you

We cover return shipping costs for faulty or incorrect items.

How to Return an Item

Step 1: Contact Us Email david@spicybulldog.co.za or WhatsApp +27 83 463 8443 with:

  • Your order number
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if applicable)

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization We'll provide you with:

  • Return authorization number
  • Return shipping instructions
  • Return address

Step 3: Ship Your Return

  • Pack items securely in original packaging
  • Include your order number and return authorization
  • Ship via a traceable courier service
  • You cover return shipping costs (unless the item is faulty or incorrect)

Step 4: Refund Processing Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Approved returns: Refund processed within 5–7 business days
  • Refunds issued to original payment method
  • You'll receive email confirmation when processed

Exchanges

We don't offer direct exchanges. To exchange an item:

  1. Return the unwanted item for a refund
  2. Place a new order for the replacement product

Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Card: 5–10 business days (depending on your bank)
  • EFT/Bank Transfer: 3–5 business days
  • Store Credit: Available upon request (instant)

Damaged in Transit

If your parcel arrives damaged:

  1. Do not accept delivery if outer packaging is visibly damaged
  2. Contact us immediately with photos
  3. We'll file a claim with The Courier Guy and arrange replacement

Cancellations

Before Dispatch:

  • Orders can be cancelled free of charge
  • Full refund issued within 3–5 business days

After Dispatch:

  • Follow standard return process
  • Return shipping costs apply

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days:

  1. Check your bank account/credit card statement
  2. Contact your bank or card provider
